We are now pleased to announce the Advanced Lymphoma Blood Test. After two years extensive research, development and clinical testing, we can give you a new test which can:
- Differentiate between patients with lymphadenopathy due to lymphoma and lymphadenopathy due to other ailments such as benign lymphoid hyperplasia.
- Give same day results – lymphoma can develop very rapidly, and time is of the essence.
- Provide results from a simple blood test, taken as part of routine blood work.
- Be supplied at reduced cost. The new same day turnaround test costs less than the original 5 day turnaround LBT, and considerably less than the original two day turnaround LBT
Our original Lymphoma Blood Test (LBT) measured the pattern of a number of protein peaks which were typical of lymphoma in dogs. While it is a great technique, it is quite time consuming to perform, and we understand that you need test results as quickly as possible – particularly where lymphoma is concerned. For this reason, we have been busy working on the identity and characterisation of some of the biomarkers used in our first LBT which has enabled us to transfer to test onto established immunoassays.
