Practical Information About The Test

The testing service has been designed to be extremely simple to use. One of the great benefits to clinical practice is that the test is performed on a serum sample, therefore, when lymphoma is suspected, only an extra ml of blood needs to be taken as part of routine blood work up.

Preparing and dispatching the sample.

• Add 1 ml of venous blood to a standard serum gel tube.
• Allow to clot at room temperature for 30 minutes.
• Centrifuge to obtain the serum.
• Refrigerate until ready to ship to PetScreen (it is important that the sample is not frozen).

We will provide you with shipping packs to dispatch the sample to our laboratory. In the UK, these shipping packs are sent through the Royal Mail. For all other countries samples are dispatch via Fed Ex Detailed instructions are included in the sample submission forms.
